DIRECTIONS
The easiest way to find our northern Forests is as follows:
For Forestlands No.7 (Morepork), No.8 (Fencepost) and No.9 (Pukeko), from either Dannevirke (if coming from the north) or Pahiatua (if coming from the south), make your way to Pongoroa (approximately 65kms) heading towards the East Coast.
From Pongoroa take “Coast Road” and travel 15kms towards Akatio. Once you have travelled approximately 15kms you will come to Marainanga Road on your right (gravel road).
Travel 2kms up Marainanga Road and you will come to the Pukeruru Station sign. Forestlands has a commercial access point right here and this is where the log trucks will come out from.
For Forestlands No.10 (Fantail 1 & 2), please email us for directions as both forests are in different locations.
Forestlands No.11 (Tui), No.12 (Kakapo) and No.14 (Kiwi) have joint shares in 2 North Island forest blocks.
If travelling to these two forests let us know and if our forest manager is in the area, we will organise for him to meet you, as both these forests are off the road.
The first forest is approx 70km from Masterton and is accessed off Pak Spur Road. Just keep travelling up through the Tinui Valley and onto the gravel and look for our sign.
The second forest is approx 59km north of the Port of Napier on State Highway 2. If you get to the Puturino township (basically the pub) you have travelled about 5kms too far. The forest is on the right hand side of State Highway 2 when travelling north.
Southern Forests
DIRECTIONS
The easiest way to find our southern Forests is as follows:
Travel to Edendale located on State highway 1 between Gore and Invercargill.
At Edendale, turn off the main highway (opposite the Edendale Dairy Factory) and head to Wyndham. (Sign posted)
Once at Wyndham, head through and out of the town towards Glenham (sign posted). The forests are approximately 19 km from Wyndham.
Pass through Glenham and stay on the road until coming to Mitchell Road on your left (sign posted).
Follow that road until reaching Forestlands No.2 (Tyneholm) and No.3 (Woodslea), approx 7km on the right.
Forestlands No.4 (Fox), No.5 (Homestead) and No.6 (Old Shed) are located further round as shown on the map.
